Individual Therapy
In psychotherapy, the client and the therapist work collaboratively in able to assist the client in resolving the issues that had brought them into treatment. There are many different approaches that may be presented during therapy, and we would collaboratively decide which approach would best help you benefit from our time together. In doing therapy, the most common approaches that I utilize include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy, but not necessarily limited to just those approaches. In order for the therapy to be most successful, you will have to work on things we talk about in session with some suggestions requiring you to apply it outside of therapy sessions.
Services
Adolescent Therapy
Working with adolescents has been something that has been my passion. Being a teenager can be scary, and I enjoy providing my young clients a space that is comfortable, and guiding them to better navigate school, relationships, transitions, and the pressures that they may encounter in today's societal expectations. Understandably, being able to just talk and share one's experiences can feel intimidating, therefore, I don't just engage my younger clients in talk therapy, but also introduce art and play therapy.
Telehealth
Sometimes circumstances such as a busy schedule, lack of accessible transportation, or having kids may make it difficult to make it to therapy appointments. Providing telehealth as an option allows for more convenience and flexibility... and you get to have the choice of being in the comfort of your home.
